A New Home

I have a new home. It's my Forever Home. I have a Mummy and a Daddy and a proper family!

I used to live with Nanny and Dolly. Dolly is a Jack Russell. She sulks a lot. Nanny got poorly and had to go to hospital and can't look after me. Nanny's daughter is my new Mummy.

I have a big brother called Buster. He's a Labrador. I have a big sister called Rosie. She's a Japanese Shiba Inu. She's really old. I have another big sister called Foofy. She's a Jack Russell. She's really old too. Daddy calls her "The Grinch".

Rosie and Foofy aren't big really. They are the same size as me. I'm small. Buster is big. He is really big. I can walk right under him!

We have a big garden with lots of grass. We can go out and play whenever we want to.

Mummy and Daddy take us all for nice walks in the fields and the woods. It's so much fun!

We're all allowed to sleep on the settee in the daytime. At night time, I'm allowed to sleep in the big bed with Mummy and Daddy. I like to keep Mummy's feet warm.

Mummy and Daddy didn't know what breed I was. They had to look on their computers. They said I'm a Patterdale Terrier. That means I can chase foxes and mice. Daddy said Mr Fox comes in our garden and I'm allowed to chase him away.

Daddy says he'll teach me how to be a good girl and to sit down and to come to him when he calls me. I will try very hard to be a good girl. I want Mummy and Daddy to be really happy so I can live here forever! I want this to be my Forever Home!
